Fentimans

This tonic is manufactured by the traditional method, based on introducing in pure water a mixture of ground cereals, crushed quinine crust, lemon leaf and cane sugar. The infusion is left long enough for it to acquire the predetermined flavour and is pasteurized, carbonated before being introduced into the bottle. It is a tonic, more carbonated than usual, which produces a wide bubbling. It is perceived in its taste, the bitterness of quinine and the taste of lemon. It has a 0.5% alcohol content due to the fermentation of some of its components. It is manufactured since 1905 by Fentimans, and is presented in a cylindrical bottle, dark brown 125 ml.
